1. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our App:

Information you provide directly:

  • Registration details: Email address (for login via link, Google, or Apple Sign-In).

  • Profile details: Your first name, date of birth (for age calculation and verification), height, district of residence, gender, gender you are seeking, preferred age range of partner.

  • Onboarding responses: Your preferences and answers to questions about lifestyle, interests, opinions, relationship expectations, habits (e.g., smoking, alcohol), body type and partner body type preferences, love language, sense of humor, etc. This information is used to create your profile and to match you with compatible users.

  • Profile photo: The photo you upload for your public profile during onboarding.

  • Verification photos: Photos taken during the identity verification process (e.g., with hand gestures) used to confirm that the profile photo matches the real person. We require access to your device’s camera (android.permission.CAMERA) to take these photos.

  • Communication: If you contact us (e.g., via email for support), we may retain a record of that communication.

Information collected automatically:

  • Firebase identifiers: Unique Firebase Authentication User ID (UID).

  • Usage and device data (via Firebase SDK): We may collect information about how you access and use the App, including device information (e.g., hardware model, OS version), log information, IP address (which may be used to estimate general location), access dates and times, viewed features, and any app crashes (via Firebase Crashlytics), as well as anonymized usage analytics (via Google Analytics for Firebase) to improve the App.

  • FCM Token: A unique token used to send push notifications (if enabled).

  • In-app purchase (IAP) information: If you purchase a date reservation, Google Play or App Store processes your payment. We receive purchase confirmation and a unique transaction identifier for verification, but we do not collect or store your payment details (such as card numbers).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Providing and managing the App: To create and manage your account, verify your identity, and enable login.

  • User matching: To analyze your onboarding responses and profile details to find compatible matches for dates.

  • Identity verification: To compare verification photos with your profile photo to ensure community safety.

  • Communicating with you: To send important notices about your account, reservations, matches found, changes to the App or this Policy, and to respond to your inquiries. To send push notifications (if enabled) to remind you of a date or inform you of a match result.

  • We may also use your email address to communicate with you directly for account-related purposes and service updates. These emails are not used for marketing purposes unless you have explicitly consented. You can opt out of receiving such non-essential email communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the email or by contacting us directly.

  • Processing reservations and payments: To record your date reservation, process token usage, or confirm credit purchases for reservations (via IAP).

  • Improving the App: To analyze App usage (anonymized), diagnose technical issues and crashes, and enhance features and user experience.

  • Security and fraud prevention: To protect the safety and integrity of our platform and users.

  • Legal compliance.

3. Sharing Information and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited cases:

  • Firebase/Google services: We use services provided by Google LLC (Firebase, Google Cloud) to deliver core App functionality (authentication, database, storage, cloud functions, crash reporting, analytics, push notifications). These services have their own privacy policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

  • Payment gateway providers (IAP): In-app purchases are processed directly via Google Play (for Android) or App Store (for iOS). We do not share more data with them than necessary to confirm the transaction. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.

  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, prevent fraud, or protect the personal safety of users.

  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred. You will be informed of any such change.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. We use, for example, security features provided by the Firebase platform (including Firestore and Storage security rules). However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

  • Profile details and onboarding responses: Retained while your account is active.

  • Verification photos: Retained only for as long as necessary to complete the verification process, then securely deleted (e.g., within 7 days after approval or rejection of verification). They are not part of your public profile.

  • Purchase information: Records of verified transactions (without payment details) may be retained for accounting and fraud prevention purposes.

After your account is deleted, your personal data will be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with our procedures and legal requirements.

6. Your Rights

You have certain rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.

  • Correction: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Deletion: You can request deletion of your personal data under certain conditions (e.g., by deleting your account).

  • Restriction of processing: You can request restriction of processing under certain circumstances.

  • Objection: You can object to the processing of your data for certain purposes.
